ROBERTO BELLINI
 

A master sommelier in his own right, Roberto Bellini enlivens the palates of aspiring wine connoisseurs by leading them in the IFOWS Sommelier Training programme organized in collaboration with the "Associazione Italiana Sommelier", which will be followed by a competition to judge best sommeliers in India.

He holds a 1°, 2° and 3° professional qualification for sommeliers from the Italian Association of Sommeliers (Associazione Italiana Sommeliers) from 1979-1983 and has been a free lance journalist since 2002.

He has been the Vice President of the Italian National Sommeliers' Association f rom 1999 to 2002 and the President of the Academy of wines from 2003-2005 and has collaborated with Dalle Vigne Spa for selection of wines and also with the sales team since 2004.

In 2006 he was appointed the counsellor for the Italian Sommelier Association and is currentlly a member of the Board of Directors of the World Wide Sommelier Association.
